“Flowery Kyomachiya” – Opening to the Public Days

<10:00 – 17:00, Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from March 15 to April 21 *Closed on March 29 – 31>

We welcome you to our flowery kyomachiya, which is decorated with flowers in the garden of the Sugimoto Residence.

As the major roof repair work has been completed, areas restricted to visitors are now open for viewing.

Please spend a quiet spring day in a comfortable kyomachiya at the Sugimoto Residence.

In the teahouse, you can enjoy the Sugimoto family’s special amazake made from the sake “Eikun,” newly released “Kome (=rice) Gelato,” and Kameya Yoshinaga’s special confectionery “sakekasu monaka (sake lees monakamonaka is a type of Japanese confectionery made by wrapping sweet bean paste in a skin made from rice cake).” *The tea house usage fee is not included in the admission fee.
