“Flowery Kyomachiya” – Opening to the Public Days

<10:00 – 17:00, Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 3 to June 16 *Closed on May 24 – 26>

* On Saturday, May 11, the Sugimoto Residence will close 1 hour earlier (Open hours: 10:00 – 16:00 / Entrance desk will close at 15:00).

We will furnish the kyomachiya in early summer with flowers from the Sugimoto family’s garden.

The rooms that were not open to visitors during the repair work of the main roof can now be viewed.

We hope you will spend your time at the Sugimoto Residence during this beautiful season of fresh green in the garden.

In the teahouse, you can enjoy the Sugimoto family’s special amazake made from malted rice for the sake “Eikun,” newly released “Kome (=rice) Gelato,” etc. *The tea house usage fee is not included in the admission fee.
