“The Sugimoto Family’s Mame Ningyo Dolls” – Public Viewing of the Sugimoto Residence Open Fraidays, Saturdays, and Sundays from April 3 to 19

The Sugimoto Residence, a designated National Important Cultural Property and one of Kyoto’s largest traditional kyo-machiya townhouses, will be open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from April 3 to 19, 2026.

Alongside the spring arrangement of this traditional Kyoto townhouse, Mame Ningyo miniature dolls from the Sugimoto family collection will be displayed.
