“Evening of Satsuki (May) at Kyomachiya of Flower Season” – Opening to the Public Days <10:00 – 18:00, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 12 to May 28>

Experience the beauty and comfort of Kyomachiya in May.

As you sit on the tatami, you will feel as if you have transcended time and space to feel the presence of the people who lived in Kyoto 100 years ago.

Especially at dusk, the breeze blowing through the garden and the distant sounds of the city will make you forget your daily life.

In the teahouse space, visitors can experience the flavors associated with the Sugimoto family in a fresh green courtyard visited by wild birds.

Please enjoy original amazake (rice wine) and sencha (Japanese green tea) served with utensils from the Sugimoto family’s collection.
